SO who all is watching the new tv show titled "Nashville"? I am loving watching it and seeing all the familiar places that the people on the show are hanging out at. There is some great talent on the show and I am sure there will be at least one superstar come of it. I really like Mikah's voice and think that she will do really well. I have been helping to promote a new singer named Kyle Wyley that is a rising star in Nashville and I can't help but think that he would have been an awesome additon to the show. Oh well....you never know what the future brings. The show is on tonight at 9pm

I am watching it. My grankids stayed all night last night. I forgot to tape it! Anything exciting happen that I missed??

Well I was all set to watch it last night and it wasn't on. I am hoping that it will be on CMT tomorrow night as they always air it on Sundays. Just hoping that it wasn't cancelled or something.

I wonder if that was the show I read about in the Tennessean ? That show I think is going to be rescheduled.

I didn't know it was on. is it on GAC or CMT. iwould love to see it.

I thought it was cancelled for now. The ratings were bad. They did say in the Tennessean that it would probably be back later in a different time period.

It was on FOX. There was a big argument with the musicians union over how much FOX was going to pay the musicians on the show. I don't think they ever worked it out.

Aww that stinks...I was really enjoying the show. It showcased alot of good upcoming talent and what they go through to make it in the music business in Nashville. I do hope they re air it.

On a similar note, last night TV Guide had The Bionic Woman as being on at 8pm ET on NBC. Well, I set my VCR to record, but didn't get a good picture, so I borrowed my father's videotape to copy to my DVD+RW disc...he called up when he got home to let me know that NBC had decided to air a program called Chuck instead...GRRRRRRRR!! Don't know if it will be back on this Wednesday night or not in it's regular time slot. Last night was supposed to be a re-broadcast of this past Wednesday's episode. I really hate it when networks change the schedule around with no notice or cancel shows after only one or two airings...after all, how can people even decide if they like a show if it's only aired for one or two weeks?

I really like "Nashville" as it does give a cool shot of the city and an insight to how it all happens in Music City. On a side note, I see that Chuck Wicks (?) has a single out...."Chasin' Cinderella" (I think I'm close on both the name and the title!!!!) I really like the song, and heard it a few times before they actually SAID who sang the song, then saw his name on "Nashville" as one of the people. I can't place him offhand, but it seems like I've read his name/heard about him somewhere before. Anyone know? I love the song!!! Hope the show comes back on, because it was pretty good....


On a similar note, did everyone note the email from VG to "check out" Jamey Johnson? He is also on "Nashville" as part of the (????) something group (like the Muzik Mafia). He looks GOOD and I've always enjoyed his songs and songwriting skills.

I think the song is called Stealing Cinderella...I think I heard it Sunday on one of the countdowns and it just seemed to stand out among all the other songs on the countdown.

As for Jamey Johnson, I have his first CD somewhere...I'll have to find it because it was one that I downloaded, so it's in a slim jewel case instead of a regular case.

Oh, I might as well mention this...when we were on vacation, on the way to NJ between Nashville and Chatanooga I saw Steve Azar's bus...out of all the busses that I saw going in and out of Nashville, only 2 had actual names on them, one I couldn't get the name of, but I think it might have been the Randy Rogers band, because it seemed like it had two Rs on it, and the other was Steve's bus. Thought you might like to know that since you're a big Steve Azar fan.

Just an update on the TV show, I saw over at the Tennessean that FOX will be bringing the show back in November when their baseball coverage is over.

Oh, yep, you are correct, Valerie. Guess I was a bit "overtired" when I typed that last post! I really like that song, and hope that it does well. I'm also glad to hear that the show will be back on again soon!!

That's cool that you saw Steve's bus!!! It's kind of hard to miss!!! He doesn't like that his face is plastered on the side of the bus, but EXXON thought it was a good idea and he's not about to argue with his sponsor!! Steve is *back* in the studio again, recording a brand new cd. The trouble is, his last one is held up in red tape so it never came out. You can find some copies on ebay and Amazon now and again, but it never was officially released. I'm SOOO glad I have a copy--it's a great cd called Indianola and when it FINALLY comes out (it will, once it's all figured out) I recommend snatching it up. No real news on the newest cd, aside from Steve and the boys are working in the cd. I've heard a few of the new songs, and they are great. I'm hoping we'll hear a single on radio again soon!

Let me know if/when you hear when Steve's CD that's tied up will be released...I can hardly keep up with all the CDs that are out now...and some of them that I would like are hard to find (like Doug Stone's new one). And I'd rather go to a place like Walmart or Target than take a chance bidding on Ebay and having the price get outrageous. I noticed that right now, the CD on Ebay is up to almost $9, but there's still 3+ days to go.
