I have been Requesting How Lonely Looks every day at my local country stations, I know this can be a number 1 for Reba And Vince!! This is a great old song of Vince's. Let's call all the country stations Vince Gill Fans out there on the board! gillgirl IN PA.

i am so mad. my local station just had a love it or leave it contest for vince's new song This is how lonely looks.the vote was almost all against it!!!!! Callers said it was too high or too whiney. One caller said it sounded like the beegees hit I Can't tell you Why lol. Just goes to show you they don't know much about music. I think the song is beautiful and it gives me the chills when I hear it kind of like Colder Than Winter. I tried to call and voice my opinion but I couldn't get through. Hopefully this song will do good but if it doesn't we all know it is and that Vince is the greatest. Love, Rachel

The Bee Gees hit, I Can't Tell You Why?!?!? Uh, that's more like The Eagles, who, btw, have been added to the list of CMA performers, even though Vince hasn't.

I know it was an eagles hit but the caller to the radio is the one who thought it was the beegees. That is the song vince sang on the common thread album which i am sure every vince fan already knows. I don't even feel like listening to that radio station after the comments that were made about vince. I am glad I have this website to blow off my steam to and everyone on here can relate to that cause we all LOVE VINCE.

I'm really surprised that the DJ didn't correct that caller when they said it was a BeeGees hit...that caller definately doesn't know what s/he is talking about! I LOVE Vince's version of I Can't Tell You Why, but of course some of the listeners these days have no clue about the history of country music or anything...the only thing the radio stations care about is getting those listeners who fit into their 'teeny booper' demographic (18-25 age range).

Hi Rachel - I totally agree......How Lonely Looks and Colder Than Winter are on my top 10 list of Vince songs! His vocals are unreal! They give me goosebumps!
Those people who don't like Vince's songs need to get their ears cleaned out! You know how many people I have made Vince fans in the last 20 years......too many to count!
Keep on listening! Vince knows who his true fans are!
