Have you requested the new single? Did the station play it? Did they say they didn't have it?

Post here so we know any stations that are currently playing Vince's new single!
Mary Anne
According to "country aircheck monitor" only one station has added it so far.
AmberJ
Yep..it won't get added if it isn't requested...continuously, politely, requested!

Thanks!

As i was leaving Barboursville, WV one month ago, a station out of Ohio "WTCR 103.3" played "Threaten Me With Heaven" and aired a Vince commentary following the song. I was surprised and realised at that moment when a song reaches the airwaves of WTCR then most S.E. Ohioans know the song has reached the big times.

Unfortunately, as I been keeping my eyes glued to the Billboard charts released online every thursday and becomes official every saturday, the song is gradually dropping off the charts since peaking at #42 I believe though I have high hopes after some heavy promoting that the song will rise again and with the Grammy's coming up should with a performance hopefully or not will cause the song to shoot the moon and land in the top ten and maybe #1 let us hope and pray.

If old George Strait can continue to enter the top ten and have number ones why not Vince? Go VINCE! You deserve it!

What makes me angry is that a stupid song like Toby Keith's Red Solo Cup can break Top 30, but a song like Threaten Me With Heaven can't even break Top 40!!

In my opinion and meaning no disrespect to anyone know what it really does not make any difference if we say pretty please with sugar on it when we request Vince's songs most radio stations will not play his music.I have repeatedly requested his music since The Key and the most I have ever heard any of his songs have been his older music . I absolutely support Vince's music by buying his records and having others go with me to his concerts and sometimes they buy his records . Anymore I only listen to "country radio" on my way to and from work "because they play a lot of stuff that holds no appeal to me personally ". Possibly being able to speak with a program director about would work but I am very skeptical .I mean when country radio states that a record such as The Key is "to" country get real .

I agree Anna! Sara Evans first two were deemed "too" country too and only manage one hit and that force her to switch to sort of country pop but you know neo-traditional is still in and country acts like Josh Turner and Brad Paisley do incorporate from time to time but I feel it's not enough and the difference between Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift speaks volumes about it. I believe Carrie did mention one time that you shouldn't try to have differences mixes of country songs to make it work at pop radio (like some of Swift's singles) but instead make a country record and let it songs in entire country originality crack the bigger "hot 100" listener masses. That just paraphrasing of what she actually said but ain't that the truth. We accepted Dolly Parton's country pop... but Dolly is Dolly and she has the originality and "one of a kind" voice to pull if off but they called it "urban country" back then and it didn't sound entirely like a pop record just "rocked" little more than "twanged". And when I say "rock" ...it's the same their too. Rock is being ousted for hip-hop. R&B is less soulful and Country has gone pop. I would say it's the record's company's fault but Vince leaving MCA may hint at something...just saying.
