Ok..here we go again..LOL!!!

I know that we started this thread on the old message board, we continued it somewhat on mine & Bruce's website, so I thought I would bring it on over here as well...

Let's throw some ideas out there for names for the new cd boxed set...I've been trying to keep up with all the names that everyone has mentioned so far...with this being such a different type of project for Vince and all of the cds contained in the boxed set being different types of music, I thought it would be fun for us to brainstorm some ideas of names for his new boxed set...

Anyone want to get that started again??? When I can find the ideas that I saved from the other posts, I'll re-post them here...

Hey Mary...I thought of that one a few days ago...guess great minds think alike!!! Actually, I thought of that one after what Storme Warren said about Vince's new cd project on the last 'Country Music Across America'...I thought that was a really nice name too!!!

I think we have come up with some clever ideas. Who knows, maybe Vince will read them. Wouldn't it be a thrill if he picked one of ours?

The idea I had posted on the old VG board was to have the box resemble the Krispy Kreme donut box and say "Hot Now" and the CD's could look like donuts. (But, I know Vince isn't eating KK these days! LOL)

I really like your signature and I think that would be a good new name "Kindly Keep It Country"

This is a good one Sis. The Key has always been one of my favorite CD's of his. I have always be disappointed that it wasn't accepted more that it was.

You all have picked some neat names. My opinion is..............Vince said this box set has all kinds of music. So ,I feel it should be something like Mixing It Up , This and That ,or maybe just Vince Gill .
Oh,well,I am sure it will have a name but it's fun to create .

Anna, I've been thinking of just "Vince Gill" also. Especially since there are four CDs with a variety of music. I just can't think of anything fitting to call a box set of all new songs. My creative juices don't flow as well as they used to.

Montgomery Gentry had a contest for their last album where they let the fans decide the name of the new album. I beleive the winner won a prize and also got their name in the liner notes...how cool would a contest like that be?

I don't know if this was your idea or someone else's that you put on, but "Songs from the Soul" is a wonderful one. I think no matter the subject matter, Vince always sings from the soul.
