The funeral service for steel guitarist John Hughey will be held Wednesday (Nov. 21) at the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tenn. Visitation is Tuesday (Nov. 20) at the Hendersonville Funeral Home between 2 and 4 p.m. and 6 and 8 p.m. Hughey died Sunday (Nov. 18) at age 73. He was a well-known steel player who toured and recorded with Conway Twitty, Vince Gill and, most recently, the Time Jumpers.
