What a GREAT Show. Vince played five songs.With Richard Marx singing with him it sounded great! Vince sang Don' Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away, Trying to Get Over You, Liza Jane, I Still Believe in You & What You Give Away. Richard stated that I Still Belive in You is one of his five favorite all time songs. Vince played with Richards' band backing him up. It was different but still very good. We are so use to him having an Army of musicians behind him with horns, extra guitars, dual keyboards & BG vocalists. Vince clowned Richard on his pretty boy looks.But as usual Vince clowned himself too. Vince came out in a giant foam cowbay hat. He said it reminded him of being crapped on by a pigeon years ago & the crew got him a hat to prevent further accidents! Richard said the only time he was ever crapped on was by the press. I had the chance to talk to Vince after the gig & he expressed his joy and amazement at the "Album of the Year" Grammy nomination. He also said it will be awhile before the DVD comes out as they are expanding the HD version to the full show for the general public DVD!

I was at the music bash too, and I agree that it was an awesome show!!! Vince was so funny, and did a great job as usual!! There is nothing better than watching Vince up on stage, he amazes me everytime. I was at the show early and saw him chatting with some people on stage and I walked up and asked him to sign a picture for me and he very kindly did!!!! I was soooo excited! Then after show my husband and I went back to our hotel and I had a feeling Vince would be staying there too because the hotel was a sponser of the event. We waited out in the lobby for a bit and sure enough Vince walked in to go check in!!!! I was SOOOO excited, I could barely contain myself!!! After he checked in I asked him if I could get a quick picture with him and again being the kind man that he is, he said sure!!!! I have so much respect for him. Not only as a performer, but as a person. He is always so kind to stop and take a minute to make the day of someone else! I am so grateful, and feel very blessed! Anyway, I had a great time and I am soooo excited that I got another picture with him. That makes 3 this year........2007 has been a good one for me

Great news about the DVD, even if it means we have to wait a little longer for it! I think all of us would rather have the complete show than an edited version!

Great stories krissie and reggie!! So glad that you both got to attend the show and got to talk to Vince for a bit. I was hoping the DVD would be out sooner but seeing that they are adding more footage I can definitely wait a little bit longer.
