A friend of mine said Vince performed in some hotel in California on either New Year's Eve or New Year's Day (12/31/2007 or 1/1/2008). I never heard or saw anything about that. Did I miss some surprise appearance by Vince, or is my friend giving me a line? Anybody know?

I think your friend is giving you a line- read or heard somewhee that the Gill clan is in CO skiing.

I am sure if he did ( which I doubt ) it would have been posted here , unless it was a private function . I'd go with the in Colorado , sking . I think Vince and Amy spend time with the family over the holidays .

Gosh, now you found out my BIG secret. Since I live on a ski slope with inches of snow, the entire family was here for a great adventure. San Jose is know for great snow depth and superb skiing conditions. I cooked for everyone and served it snow side. I would have invited you all to join us but the Four Seasons just down the street was booked. Maybe next time. Keep June open OK?

Oh, but, if I came clean everyone would know what a creative mind I have. Snow never hits the ground in SJ. It rains, like today, but usually we have the most perfect weather in the world. We are 30 miles from the Pacific, Santa Cruz, 1 1/2 hours from the Monterey Peninsula, 45 minutes from San Francisco and just sitting here in the closest thing to Heaven..............Housing prices are in the $800,00 and up but , gee, aren't they that way every where...gangs, yes, traffic, yes, drugs, yes, and, not one person here thinks Hillary has served 35 years in any capacity of public office. Steve Jobs lives just up the road in a $6,000,000 house. Joe Montana sends his boys to a very welll know Prep School with private tutoring on being a Quarterback. Steve Young lives in Palo Alto and I could just go on and on.........Vince and Amy were NOT here...........I was dreaming.
