Are there any Packer Football fans on this site? We are big Seahawks fans and hope our Seahawks win next weekend to go on during this big post-season!
Hi Frieda, I know that are at least two of us "cheeseheads" here!
Always nice to have Coach Holmgrem come to visit us again.
Should be a good game between the two good teams.

What an interesting game in the snow! Just glad no one was hurt due to the slippery field conditions. They sure did slide on the field when tackled & I was wondering how much snow the coaches would have piled up on top of the bills of their caps by the end of the game! LOL
Haven't heard what the weather forecast is yet for next Sunday when the Giants will be visiting Green Bay.

I hope the Patriots don't win, too. Mainly because the press keeps making this big thing over how they're the best team *ever* since they went 16-0 during the regular season. Well, I hate to tell the press this, but the 1972 Dolphins also went without a loss, and, according to my father, they did it with their second string qb...plus they also won every playoff game *and* the Superbowl. Back then, the Dolphins had a 14 game season, so for the press to be making this big thing over the Patriots is rediculous.

Well, I'm so very glad Tony Romo and the Cowboys lost because they are also so arrogant and think they deserve to win and Tony got that huge $67M contract and last year he lost to the Seahawks and this year to the Giants. I'm glad for Payton's little brother making good also. It's like the Patriots think all the teams should just lay down and let them be crowned kings or something! Next weekend will be a good indication of the finals.
Our Seahawks are sad but I didn't really think they would go any further because they have been so bad on the road this year and our running back - Shaun Alexander - is a joke and needs to be cut. Now Holmgren is off on a vacation and won't tell us if he will be back for another year or not until he has time to think and talk to his wife. Most people want him to come back. There's always another year but just seeing Tony Romo lose was worth it.

Well I am not sure that I want to get in on this but I am going for Tom Brady as he played for Michigan and Brett this week-end. After that I will have to decide on the Super Bowl. Of course, I do like the Manning boys too.
I really have watched play offs this year and most times I do not pay attention.

Valerie,
Just to let you know, I've heard a couple of the football "anaylist" who are still waiting to see how the Patriots do through the rest of the playoofs before declaring them the 'best team ever". As with anything it's all a matter of opiniion. I think Brett Faivre is a better quearterbakc than Tom Brady, but if I don't think either one of them would beat Joe Montana in the "best quarterback" race.

Thanks, Mary Anne...that's good to know that there are *some* football analysts who are still waiting before declaring the Pats the 'best team ever'...but here it seems like that's all they're doing is playing up the 'best team ever' angle, even though the team isn't even finished the full season. I'm sure Dan Marino is one of those who isn't playing up the 'best team ever' for the Pats...I'd really like to hear his comments on this whole thing...after all, after making a mistake during one analysis q/a session as to whether the Dolphins would actually win a game this season by picking no, he did say that they would win one game, and they actually did win one game.

Here's another proud "Cheesehead" cheering on the Packers!

I'm a diehard Packer fan all the way no matter how many games they win! But how exciting to have them playing the Giants tonight right here in Green Bay for the right to go to the SuperBowl!!!!!
It would be great to go to the game but the temp. will be about 8 degrees BELOW zero at kickoff! Not to mention what it will be with the windchill! That's why it's called the "Frozen Tundra!" Too cold for me! I will be on the edge of my seat in the warmth of my home wearing my green & gold! LOL!
I have such a good feeling about this game! It's been awhile since Brett Favre & the Pack were in the SuperBowl! All my fingers are crossed!!
Woo Hoo! GO PACKERS GO!!

I'm wearing my Packers green today as well and will be watching from the warm of inside my home. But, I do know a few going to the game today. Heard they are handing out "hand warmers" to all the fans at the gates today. You just know they will show some fan on TV not wearing his shirt!

Go Packers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is cold here in western NY too! Not as cold as it is in the Frozen Tundra, though. It is 12 degrees but the wind chill probably makes it around 0 or below. I can't imagine being at a football game when it is that cold.

Well, now it will be interesting to see who can win at the Super Bowl! Eli Manning was very good today and his team really played hard. I know it's hard for you Packer fans but Bret has had his time at Super Bowls and now some of the younger talent get their chance. What a day for the Manning family - they showed Archie hiding his head during the last few minutes of the game when it was up in the air if Eli would make it or not. Just think one son at Super Bowl last year and now his younger brother going the very next year. Since Giants represent the NFC we will be rooting for them.

I must say even though I have really liked Brett I was not that disappointed to have the Giants win. I do like Eli and in fact all the Mannings. Eli said that Peyton was not there but definitely would be watching. When it went to overtime I was thinking how much longer do they have to play in that cold.
Now I am torn who I really want to win the Super Bowl. Nice if Eli could take it but always liked Brady as he use to play for Michigan.
Such decisions.

Well, the Super Bowl is almost here! It would be great if Eli could win his first Super Bowl - Brady has already won 3 hasn't he? I always think its time to let someone else have a little glory once they've won the big one. I'm sure I'm in the minority though.
