fyi...Just saw at the Apple iTunes store the single is available for purchase.

I just downloaded it to my IPOD. There is a banner at the store in the country section that is advertising it as new.

I can now play it everywhere I go - woohoo!

Cool,CB . I'm just sent the info ( to the radio station) on the main page about the release to radio. I ask them to please play it. It's the a.m. DJ and if there is any way he can get it on he will. He's and one guy in the p.m. seem to be the only ones who even cares. Not sure there is anything they can do if it's not added to the play list.

That's great cj !!! I had looked on the itunes site about a week ago and it wasn't there...so glad they have added it now!!!

Also, I posted a quick review on the song on itunes store...if you can take the time to do a quick reveiw and give it the 5 stars it deserves that would be great. It takes a moment to do it and takes a while to show up.

Not sure if you are not an iTunes member if it's hard to sign up to write the review.

I do know unfortunately there is always 2 to 3 childish "anti" country reviews that non country fans feel compelled to write (Alan Jackson's latest is a case in point - several childish, 1 star reviews).

Let's get as many 5 stars as we can to combat this and get the rating it deserves.

I intend to get around to several of these websites and write a review for the song in the next few days...it is sad that some people that don't care for country music will 'pan' a song...you know, I wouldn't dream of writing a bad review for a song that from a genre of music that I don't particularly care for...what are people thinking these days???

I haven't heard AJ's new song yet...guess I don't listen to enough radio because I'm sure they are playing it on my local stations if it's AJ...LOL!!!

I think I set a record (correct me if you've out listened me ) but I have listened to the new single 28 times today (my iTunes keeps count).

Alan's new one is a lovely ballad called "Like Red On A Rose" produced by Alison Krause (sp?)...

No, I do not think Alan wrote it as I found a free download on Amazon.com of the same song by Robert Lee Castleman.
(I like this version as well - more folksy....than Alan's version. )

Side note: I did send emails today to both our local radio stations here in Portland to request they add "Reason" to their play list. I did get one response....said "Thanks for the request. Thanks for listening"....not sure that will do any good.

As I feared two out of the nine reviews (so far) are not good on iTunes....just makes me angry as I know these guys really did not buy and listen to the song. Or they are not country fans in the first place. Anyway, I can only do one review so if any of you get a chance go to the iTunes store/ Apple and write a review for the single! Need to get it to a 4 and a half to five star rating - anything less just won't do!

I'm trying to find out where at Itunes to see the reviews and post one, but not having any luck! I also couldn't find anyplace at Walmart's website to post a review. I'm also trying to set up Itunes to use PayPal, but I keep getting an error...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........

I originally found iTunes on the Apple store site. I now have the iTunes software on my computer (to use with my IPOD).

Once in iTunes I usually just type in Vince Gill in the search area. It pulls up all his CD's - once you click into one you can see any reviews if any.

You can also click on the arrows if you find just the song. It takes you to the reviews of it and an area to buy it if you want (.99 cents for the single).

I hope I did not just confuse the heck out of you, I probably did not explain it well. I am so used to using iTunes I don't really think about it.

There is 23 reviews of the single as of today....the majority very positive with an overall rating of 4 stars out of 5 stars (on average).
