I heard this morning that Vince and Patty will be singing Satisfied Mind on this cd . Imus said it will be released sometime in May ( I think ). He ask several people to sing on it and 100% of the money goes to The Imus Ranch for Kids With Cancer . He said he had ask Vince to sing one of Mark Koffler 's (sp.) songs and Vince said he didn't want to do that . Imus said it's Vince Gill, he can do what ever song he wants . So after Porter passed away ,Vince called Imus and told him he and Patty were going to the services and afterwards they were going to the studio to record Satisfied Mind . Imus said Vince had a better idea and he is thrilled . He also said the song will make your hair stand up He has been playing some of the tunes from the cd and I am just dying to here Vince and Patty . Lucinda Williams , Levon Helms and others are on the cd . I'll keep y'all posted as to others who will be on the cd and the date of it's release .

Also if anyone here listens to Imus , Bekka Bramlett is scheduled to be on next week .

Thanks for the info, Anna. I did hear about the CD previously but didn't know what Vince was doing on it. Hope it will be available in the usual outlets so I won't have to search for it.

When Imus was talking about this CD earlier in the week he was listing the arists and I thought Vince was not on the CD. He got to the end of his list and then said the great super star Vince Gill was also on it. I liked the way he described Vince.

Imus is very much a Vince fan . I am hoping Vince will be on the show when he is doing his New York concerts .
Joan , I would think the cd , since it is for charity , would be available through Amazon ,etc .

I sent an e-mail to the Imus show .The cd is set to be released in May . I also requested Satisfied Mind and I got to hear it this morning . Expect nothing less than awesome from Vince and Patty . Such harmony . Just beautiful . Bekka Bramlett is also on the cd . Another great one
