Very good article about Ray. I have always loved Ray Price . I kind of agreed about it taking 40 years for The Hall Of Fame to induct him. His comment,"It's about time". Below is part of the article. It was quite long to post here. Sounds as though Ray is still the pro he has always been. This new project will be awesome w/Willie and The Hag.

The singer has just completed an album (as yet untitled) with Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard that is due out this fall. "They've already got it mixed and everything," he reports. "We're just waiting on what's happening in the business. ... I think it'll kind of be governed by that."

Price says he'd love to record with fellow octogenarian and golden throat Tony Bennett. "I've known Tony for a long, long time," he says. "We're acquaintances, not close friends. I love his work, and he's really a great fellow."

I will have to have that one if it ever happens. Tony Bennett is also ( to me an awesome singer and talented way beyond music. He is a fantastic artist (painting all types of paintings) Remember Tony's version of Cold Cold Heart. He is no stranger to country songs.

I am amazed that no one has responded about this project with 3 of the best all around country dudes that has ever drew a breath. I think it is so wonderful that the 3 of them are working still and together.
