I am asking that all my Vince buddies pray for my son-in-law Brad again as he leaves his family for a tour of duty in Afghanistan. It will be doubly hard this time as he is leaving his 2 year old daughter Lily for a whole year. All prayers would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. Also include all our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan who are away from their families and in harms way.

I'll include Brad in my prayers. My BIL left for the same place last Friday. He called Sunday saying they had made it as far as Kuwait.
Remember all our soldiers serving for our freedom.

Ohh nina.....I know how worried you are and my thoughts and prayers are going out. These soliders deserve the utmost respect...I just can't imagine how hard it would be to leave your family for a whole year.

I'm sorry to hear that Nina, and I will keep Brad in my prayers, as well as all the other men and women who are sacrificing every day. I'm sure it is especially hard to leave his little girl for so long. God bless him.

Thank you all for your prayers and concerns. It will be a long year of prayers and positive thinking. My daughter got stuck in the snowstorm delays and is expected back tonight from North Carolina. I'm sure she is already missing her husband. It will be a tough year but with all my Vince buddies and their prayers we will be ok. Thanks again. Keep praying for all the troops who are putting their lives on the line for our freedom.

Nina, not sure if I made this quick enough, but I'm sending up prayers right now for the Lord's protection while he's in Afghanistan and also looking over his family while he's away.

Thanks Debbie - Yes Brad is in Afghanistan now and will be there for a year. It will be hard for his wife and family. Their little girl just turned 2 so she will be almost 3 when daddy gets back home. It is hard on her because she doesn't understand where Daddy is now - she rarely gets to talk to him on the phone so it is hard. Thank you again for all your prayers.
