WHITE HOUSE (AP) Christian singer Amy Grant and her husband, Country star Vince Gill, have performed at a White House dinner for the nation's governors.

Their Sunday evening concert included Gill's "What You Give Away" and Grant singing "El Shaddai." Acknowledging California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in the front row, Gill recalled that when he was a poor young musician 31 years ago he had been asked to hand his guitar to Schwarzenegger for a photograph. He said Schwarzenegger, who was best known then as a body builder, dropped and broke it.

Gill recalled that he yelled at the future governor then, but now considers it an honor that Schwarzenegger broke his guitar

Thanks you guys for all the links to the pics. What a neat show that must have been. And to think my life on Saturday night consisted of laying around my cousins house watching "Dumb and Dumber". Not that I would ever give up hanging out at my cousins, but doing a show in the White House for all those big wigs was an infinitely better gig than what I had!
