I just received an e-mail from the Opry that lists Vince as being on the show this weekend, although when I checked the schedule he's not yet listed.

So far they havn't said his name on the radio add for the Opry.

I received the same E-Mail from the opry,lets hope he is on there ,
it will be great to see him on the opry been a long time.

hey val cool I can't wait to see vince gill on the opry .I"am upset with the opry fan club I have sign up on it.they have not send me no opry e mails newsletters I might have to e mails to them.I think the reasons why Vince is on it this weekend.that josh turner has been really sick with a sinuses infections.I don't know if any of you heard that or not. it will be good to have vince on it.it has been a long time since we seen vince on the opry.I"am looking forward to see vince .yeah.you take care carrie ann

When I looked at the GOO schedule for Saturday night, the TV portion of the show had 3 guest artists but no Opry member listed to host the show, so I'm basically assuming that's where Vince will be added, since each portion of the show *has* to have an Opry Member hosting it.

Not necessarily, Val. I have seen several Opry TV shows where they didn't have a host and the announcer just introduced each person. They could still put Vince on the TV portion since there are only 3 acts listed. We'll just have to wait for them to update the schedule.

I haven't seen many Opry shows on TV, but even if they don't have a host, each segment usually has an Opry member on it...at least all the times I've heard it on the radio it has.

I am so EXCITED!!!!! I am going!!! What a nice surprise to find out this am. I am in the Gold Section row D!!!! We were going to see Carrie Underwood. Of course I was hoping Vince would show up...This is going to be a great day!

The schedule is up now. Vince is hosting the 8:30 and 10 shows. No, he's not on the TV portion. They still only have three acts for the hour. I wonder how many songs they are going to let Carrie sing.

Carrie Ann i sent you my e-mail from the opry, they don't say weather heis going to be on the TVportion or not, it just said Vince will visit the opry March 14th& the 15th,so we will wait and see hope he is.

Maybe he will get to sing more, since it is just him and two others. I was excited all day yesterday. Can't wait. It is going to be a great night at the Opry.

Hasn't it been far to long since Vinny did the tv portion of the Opry ? Was it Josh Turner's Opry induction ? O.K. Vince it's time we see you on the tube .

I think you're right on both counts Anna ! I'll bet his next appearance on the tv segment will be next month near his birthday.
