Check out the last page of the latest Country Weekly Magazine. It features Jeff Griffith. Jeff is from my hometown! Me and my siblings and he and his siblings all grew up together. His Mom was my Sunday school teacher. I practically raised his niece because she was my daughter's best friend since they were 4 years old, right up until now. Jeff is a sweet guy, and I wish him much success.

Several years back, his family gave his Mother and Dad an anniversary party, and my whole family attended. Jeff sat over in the corner of the building with a group of guys just strumming his guitar and talking. I walked over and said, "hey Jeff, can you sing me a Vince Gill song?" Jeff started laughing because he knew my love for Vince, and he broke into, "When I Call Your Name". He did VERY WELL singing that song!!!

If you get a chance to see or hear Jeff anywhere, do it. He's good.

He would not know me if he saw me, because Jeff was the baby of his family of 6 kids, and I am the age of the second born child in their family. I know him, but to him ------- 'I' am an old lady. LOL Heck, I can remember the day he was born!!!!!!!!

Do you happen to know if he has a myspace page? Never mind...think I found him on Myspace. There's actually a few sites that has his name, but the first one is the newest one with a location of San Antonio...the other hasn't been updated since last year and has a location as Magnolia.

Not sure.

His niece just emailed me and told me that Jeff will be playing at a Club about a mile from my house on April 5th. I may go, but then again, the ole' hubby won't go, so I just don't know yet. I would love to see Jeff in action. It's been a while since I've seen him play. It would be cool to see him have LOTS of success. He's a good person. He comes from a very, very good family!
