Anyone else here as shocked as I was with the results tonight?! I did expect Carly and Syesha to be in the bottom 3, but I thought David C. would be the other one, and that he would go home.

I set up my VCR for 30 min show. I was watching it and taped stopped before the end of the show. I was so mad at myself. I missed who was in the bottom three and who went home????????

I thought Carly or Syesha would surely go --------- I WAS SHOCKED!!!

I was really shocked at who went home too. I do not think that David C will go home that soon as he has quite a fan base. He is not one of my favorites but know that on the internet most I read really like him.
I am not sure who will take it this year.
Did anyone watch AI gives back??? I thought when the group sang "Shout to the Lord" that is was so good.

I missed the show, but am not happy with who went home I think David C may win this competition, so I definately didn't think he'd be in the bottom 3. The young David sings great, but he doesn't strike me as an "American Idol" for some reason. I was really sorry to see any of the men leave, they are much better than the women this year IMO. I think Carly has a great voice, but not my type of music/artist.

I don't know Dawg, I'm just not feelin' Carly. LOL

I think David Archuleta will win it...he seems to have a pretty big fan base, especially considering he gets the loudest screams from the audience.

I didn't watch Idol Gives Back, but I did read on the internet that they took "Jesus" out of the song and put in "shepard" instead for Wednesday's show. They then sang it again on last night's show and I'm almost positive that they did sing "Jesus"

Carly, Syesha and Michael Johns were all in the bottom 3, with Michael going home.

I was really surprised and sad to see Michael Johns go. I'm not that fond of Carly either. I don't know why, she has a nice voice, but she just doesn't grab my attention. If the teenage girls have anything to say about it, David A. will be there for a long time. I'm speaking from the experience of watching it with my 16 year old Hannah.

I was surprised that Michael Johns was to leave . I thought he was very good. Did anyone watch Larry King when the Idol panel was on ? They all agreed that the winner would be between the 2 Davids. I love that little David guy . I hope he wins . I didn't really want to see any of them go . I thought this season of contestants were the best over all that they have ever had .

But seriously.......I am really over Carly and I think the reason is because I'm really tired of seeing her tatoos, her make-up makes her look really hard and she refuses to take any advice on her clothing selections. Yes, she has a good voice but she's really missing the boat on what American Idol is all about. I think she should have been the one to go home.
