I cannot believe that the Music Festival is just 7 weeks away. For those that are going...what are some of the events that you will be attending this year?

We are trying to limit the amount of things we book so that we can have some down time to do other things around town but here is what we have so far.

Wednesday- Softball Game, Parade
Thursday- Kyle Wyley performing outside Hard Rock Cafe, concert at LP Field
Friday- going to Franklin, concert at LP Field
Saturday- Kyle Wyley Fan Club party, Grand Ole Opry, concert at LP Field
Sunday- Dinner at the Palm, LP field
Monday- Home

Wednesday

MAYBE softball game
Tracy Byrd fan club party

Thursday
Neal McCoy fan club party

Riverfront to watch Jeff Griffith (a hometown boy - family friend)

I can't find out any info on Trace Adkins' fan club party. What's the scoop?

Trace's party is Thursday morning at 8am. I heard that it is already sold out. We won't be able to make it this year because we pick katie and kim up at the airport at 8:15am. Wish his party was at a different time...would have loved to see him again.

Oh well - maybe next year ------ I already have tickets for Neal McCoy's party at that same time. Dang ------ too much to do, so little time ----SO LITTLE MONEY LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The money does go fast especially now that we have to pay an arm and a leg to stay at a hotel in Nashville. I have a feeling this may be my last fan fair...things are just changing so much and the whole media/tv thing is taking over too much. Oh well...I guess I should never say never because I didn't think I would be going this year either.

I'm hoping this won't be my last year ---- but I AM getting older! DANG, did I just say that????????????????? My oh My!!!!!!

I LOVE CMAfest --- I just wished everything would go MY way!!!!!!!! I hate it when there's an event across town, and you have to miss something you really want to attend. I hate it when you purchase tickets for something, only to find out later that something you REALLY want to attend has just been announced, and you have to purchase tickets for that!!! It drives me crazy making all the plans this way. The upside ----- DANG ---- IT IS ONE HECK OF A WEEK OF FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to John Berry's party Sat.
We are also thinking about not buying the whole package next year and just attending different events and buying one day passes at the riverfront. Our hotel keeps going up up up up!!!! It is getting too expensive. My sis has in laws at Nashville. We may stay a few days with them and just run around and have fun. I will hate giving up where we usually sit and the nightime concerts. My husband does not go and I feel guiilty spending so much without him.
If I do this, I will spend more throughout the year on concerts.

I'm not going to fan fair this year, but I'm planning on going next year, so I'm hoping you all will go too, maybe we can meet up for lunch again.

My daughter is graduating high school this year, and the dates don't work for me to go to fan fair this time. Next year my son graduates college so I'm hoping it is the week earlier than fan fair like it is this year. He actually will graduate in December, but walks next May/June, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that the date will work for me!

Since everything is so pricey now, and flights probably will be expensive, I may have to reduce my days and be picky about what I spend money on though... I found out I really like the fanclub parties, and the fashion show was cool, so not sure what I could eliminate *L*

Pam...sorry you won't be there this year but your daughters grad is much more important. Are any of the girls from your group going this year? We ran into jennifer last year as we were crossing the street and it was great to chat with her for a few minutes.

Hello everyone!

Finally here to post and happy to report that I am headed to TN for Fan Fair. As you all know, none of my travel buddies can attend this year (and they will be greatly missed) so I have been going back and forth on going or not. Finally decided that I can't pass it up and since I have been buying some FC party tickets along the way (just in case) ... I have to go. Don't have all the days planned yet, but will figure that out and hope to run into you all somewhere (not just crossing the street) down there.

I also have three sets of softball tickets to sell. I have them posted on eBay right now, but if anyone is interested, please let me know. I am just asking what I paid TM for them ($46.42 a set) and am selling them because I won some from the TM auction. The tickets for sale are in Sec J row 4; Sec H row 7, and Sec K row 11.
