At the top of my computer screen, there is a scrolling headline for the news stories of the day. They cover everything from sports to national and world news. Imagine my surprise today as I'm sitting here and I see "Gill, Webb Record Song" It's just a little blurb, something most of us already knew, about Vince and composing the new song for the state of Oklahoma's centennial celebration. I thought it was cool that it made the "news"!!

Just read an article on that- Vince wrote the music and Jimmy wrote the lyrics- the song is called "Oklahoma Rising".

Very Cool!!

I hope we will get to hear the song sometime in the future...I hear the song will be 'unveiled' on September 11th, as the state nears it's centennial...

Heck, I'd even settle for the lyrics right now!!!

There was a little blurb about this in our local paper here in Redding, CA. FANTASTIC!! I was so happy to see it. This is quite and honor and accomplishment for Vince.

I heard that when I was on vacation. What a combo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to hear that one. WOW Jimmy Webb AND Vince. Remember the other Webb partner. They had mega hits.
