Answering my own question here - went to Amazon and listened to the song - it is the same song, but Sam and Mariah overpower Vince and you can hardly hear him. I'm not crazy about it.

That's only a short clip, Debbie. Will probably have to hear the whole song to really tell how much of Vince we can really hear.

Yeah, I thought about that after I posted Joan. Believe me, it hurt for me to say I didn't like a song Vince sang on, but it had nothing to do with Vince. Hopefully, the rest of the song does Vince justice. I know it's not his song, but any other song he's ever sung on didn't sound like that one.

I remember Sam and Dave. Saw Sam perform about 5 years ago. I prefer the other versions of It's Only Make Believe but Vince is on this one and I would buy it.

I had the chance to meet Sam Moore about 2 months ago. What a treat meeting such a legend! The Mariah Carey parts are not listenable to the human ear. There are some great moments on this CD though. At $9.99 @ Best Buy it was well worth it though.
