Vince Gill, Alabama's Jeff Cook, Luke Bryan and Lorrie Morgan will join famous pro fishing anglers for a fishing tournament in honor of the late Porter Wagoner, an avid fisherman. The tournament will take place June 3 at J. Percy Priest Lake in Nashville. Fishing legends such as Bill Dance, Roland Martin, Jimmy Houston, Gary Yamamoto and 2008 Bassmaster Classic women's champion Judy Wong will team up with country artists, while pro anglers Tom Mann Jr., Big Fred Contaoi, Gary Clouse, Ron Colby and Joe Jones will participate in the tournament. An acoustic concert and fish fry will follow the tournament. Money raised from the tournament will be donated in Wagoner's memory to the Opry Trust Fund.

That is really nice of Vince to participate but darnit it looks like I am going to miss seeing him at these great events. I was so hoping that he would be doing stuff during the Music Festival...
We all know that Vince is a last minute kind of guy so hopefully there will be more news in the next few days. biggrin.gif

Cathy, I think the weigh-in is back at the Bass Pro Shop at Opry Mills at 3pm. I believe that's what I read...but you could call the Bass Pro Shop and confirm that.

I'm doing good, Cathy!!!

Are you going to be able to make the Cops & Jocks game on Tuesday??? Or maybe the weigh-in for this fish tournament??? I think we are going to try to make it up there for both of these. It will be a quick trip, just up there and back home after the game, but that's better than nothing!!!
