Becky, have a great time. I had a feeling Vince might be at the Opry Saturday. Whenever Amy is out of town Vince seems to make his way to the Opry. I'll be listening to both shows so we have it covered.

On the first show he did "If You Ever..." and "Give Me Jesus".
I love to hear him sing "Give Me Jesus".

I love to hear him sing that also. I asked him to sing it at the lunch in Nashville and I was in tears listening to it. I would love it if we could get a clip of him singing it here on the website.

That is way Cool that Vince sang Give me Jesus did he say anything silly or anything about Corrina
Mary Anne
Aug 27 2006, 08:36 AM
Pam was on the first segment of the second show- a "host" on the first show is not always a "host" on the second show.
Jenny, Vince didn't say anything about Corrina.

The Opry my satellite network showed was not Vince - it was the one with Lorrie Morgan hosting. I was disappointed.

Freida, Vince was not scheduled to be on the TV portion. When you look at the Opry schedule on their website, the 2nd one down, the 7-8 p.m., is the one that is televised. Just because Vince is scheduled to be at the Opry doesn't mean he will be on the televised portion. In fact, most of the times he isn't.

Freida,
You can always listen live on the internet at
WSM Online.com or via the archives at their website. That's what I do since I can't get it on radio and since I don't have GAC or satellite radio.

Thanks - I'll try that soon but right now I'm intent on making my husband comfortable - he just had his second cateract surgery and the painters showed today to paint outside - it's rained for a day and night now. They seem to think 60 degrees and overcast is ok for painting.
