I was lucky enough to get my tickets today for the October concert at the Golden State theater in Monterey, CA. I have never attended a concert at this venue before, but, I am sure from reading about it that the show will be outstanding. It is billed as an Acoustical evening so we will be in for a treat.

Monterey is about 1 1/2 hours from my home and a very easy drive. The Monterey peninsula, Carmel area, is truly a nature's masterpiece.
I am sure Vince will be playing golf in the area, weather permitting.

Sharon - that is great you are able to go see Vince in Monterey! I wish I could get down there to see him too! I live in Santa Rosa, so I am only going to the show here on Oct 29 - I so wish I could go to another show that week! His show here is also "A Special Accoustic performance" which sounds interesting, probably different than anything he has done before on a tour! It will be awesome and October isn't coming fast enough!

Speaking of meet and greet passes - I wonder who (Vince?) determines which concerts he will do a meet and greet. Personally, I think he should do them for all concerts or none, you know? I met Vince when I was almost 4 yrs old in 1979, so I was too young and shy to say anything even though I knew his singing when my dad played his records. I would love the opportunity to tell him what a role model he is! I am praying for this!

It sure will be great to see him this year though!

Oh I'm not happy....I can get 2nd row center for Turlock right now, but if I'm not deployed I'm suppose to be in Arizona for a college Family thing I can't believe my dang luck!

Bummer Pam!! I was hoping to see you at the Visalia concert on Oct. 26th. How about you guys, Sharon, Jeni? I'm so excited!! I got 11th row center. Bought our tickets weeks ago... and since have found out Vince will also be in Santa Rosa, which is WAY closer to us than Visalia. I'm trying to figure out a way to work in tickets to Santa Rosa too... budget-wise. I may have to wash cars in the parking lot at work.
