E bay has a guitar that Vince has sign and so far it's only $125.00 . The bidding end's on Aug 31. So I hope there might be a Vince fan here that might like it. [christmas is coming]

Cathy, I was thinking about bidding on it but saw it was an electric one. I already have an electric, but would bid if it was acoustic. If you see any acoustic up for bid, please post it. I would be interested. I noticed they had one up for bid that was posted on Amy's website with both Vince & Amy's authographs but the price was too steep for me.

I can't play but that wouldn't stop me from wanting it. I just am broke now after vacation. Hope someone from the club gets it . smile.gif

Joan, I'm the same as you...I'd really think twice (or more..LOL!!!!) about a nice acoustic guitar signed by Vince...no one around here plays the guitar, but that didn't stop me from getting one of the Alabama Farewell tour guitars..which is a really nice electric guitar signed by all of the Alabama group members...probably, if I ever do get one, I would find a way to display it on the wall somewhere around the house...

I don't play, took some lessons, but still don't play. Anyways, didn't stop Rick from bidding and winning one at Chely's auction a few years ago. He knew how badly I wanted that acoustic guitar signed by Vince Gill. It was the year of his fan club party....Rick then bought a case for it at the Gibson store while we waited to meet Vince. Rick then had Vince sign the case as well. That was a week I will never forget and it's the week I fell in love with Nashville.

That is so sweet, Laura...Rick's a really great guy..and so thoughtful !!! So..tell me, what did you do with the guitar/case once you got it home???

Ever since we moved into this house, almost 3 years ago, I've wanted to take the biggest wall in the entry way and turn it into a collage of signed photos and framed pieces...it's a really big wall and the ceiling is really high in there..it would make a wonderful place to display some 'collectibles'...I also want a buffet table to go along that wall..so as soon as we can find/afford what we want to put there, I can start to get the pieces framed that I want to hang there...I've never been in a hurry to put things on the wall because I want each piece to mean something..so, I don't have a single nail in the walls here...yet...maybe someday I'll get around to it!!!
