He will be come a member at the CMA. So happy for him.

George really deserves to go into the CHOF. I like him a lot .Always glad when they get inducted while still living. I realize there are so many who are worthy but it's just nice when they are here to know about it. They barely got Marty Robbins before his death but I think they knew he was very ill.

Congratulations to George Strait - a great singer and performer.
Now if they would only recognize Vince and get him into the CHOF.

Just my opinion, but I don't think Vince will be inducted while he's the President of the CMHOF...I would like nothing better than to see Vince inducted, just don't think it will happen for a while..I hope I'm wrong!!!

You are probably right Becky. Do you know if Vince is one of the ones who decides on who is inducted or do they have a whole seperate panel that makes the decision.?

Yep, great minds, Val !!! I know that Vince has 'weighed in' on his opinion of who might be inducted...we'll never hear him mention himself, that's for sure...so I hope sometime in the future, they will nominate him...won't that be a grand day???

I'm sure that sometime in the future Vince *will* be in the HOF. How could they *not* nominate him for the honor...after all, he has more CMA Awards (and probably more awards overall) than any other artist out there. Sure, George has had the most #1s, but Vince is the most awarded.

Somehow, people have forgotten that, Valerie...George is ok and he's been around for a LONG time, but he's NO VINCE!!! Guess I'm biased...but I can't help it!!!
