Wish he would come to Central TX! Wouldn't you know that I move from FL to TX, and now he plays in S. FL more than TX!

Are we suppose to be counting each time we have seen him at The Opry & Fanfair?

I'll be going to my 15th. concert in Oct. Not many compared to some of you but thats more than I have seen any other entertainer

I would think it is just actual concerts.

I'll be going to 3 more next month, not bad considering I live across the pond

7 so far, 2 more scheduled in October so it will be soon 9. Not too bad considering I didn't start going to concerts until about 4 years ago. I have been averaging 2 a year. Thankfully the CA venues want to book Vince every year.

7 times for me, not including the Opry. 5 times in S. FL, once at the Strawberry Festival and once in Perry, GA.

So far I'm up to 4, which is pretty good since my first one was March 2007. By the end of the summer it will be 7.

I've been to 33 or 35 . . . . I actually lost count!

Hopefully I counted correctly.....I come up with 11 thus far !! One day I hope to say 100 like some people can!!! I have loved every show I have been to. I have 3 lined up for October in California and then I am going back to Nashville in January and July so I will be up to 16 after that

Not very many concerts in the Northwest anymore. He used to come every year to the Puyallup Fair at least.

Noy many concerts in PA, I have been to 4 so far and hopefully i can meet him in August when i go to see him, can't wait. Shirl.

My count is OVER 100 ! NOT including Opry & Tonight Show Apperances! Those over 100 are in eight different states. NY,Cal.,Ha.,Tx.,Az.,Tn.,Va. & NM.

Boy, I had to write down each city I have seen Vince in! I had to jog my memory because they are spread out from 1979 to present!

I have seen him 7 times and my 8th will be in Santa Rosa in October!

I hope to see him in Nashville sometime in 2009 - gotta work on that one!


I can't believe some of you have see him over 100 times, I wish!!!

Hmmmm....now you've got me thinking! I'd have to dig out my pictures, but I would estimate it to be somewhere in the range of 50. I went to my first concert in '90, and that was 18 years ago now. Since I've seen him at least two times per year on average, that would put it up in the high 30 range, but there were years when I saw him four times. If I added in the Opry, Belmont, fan fair and all the other shows, it would definitely be over 50. People just shake their heads when they ask how many times I've seen Vince and I tell them the number. The good news is, no Vince concert is ever exactly like another. Some artists, you can memorize their "script" for a show and know it word for word. Even if Vince tells some of the same stories, they are never told at the same time or exactly like the time before! He's one of a kind!!!

Which shows are you going to in California? Are you still planning to buy tickets for the Schermerhorn in January? I think the go on sale to the general public on July 19th - I am going to call and see what I can get. Maybe we will be able meet up in CA or TN depending on what shows we are going to?

How are you? I am going to the Palm Desert concert and The Visalia Concert....I already have my tickets for those. I also I am going to try to get tickets for the Walt Disney Concert hall show, but those are not on sale yet to the general public. All of these shows are within a week of eachother....What a great week that will be In addition I am also planning on buying tickets for the Schermerhorn for the January show!!! I hope I get tickets!! I just got back from Nashville less than a week ago seeing Vince at bluegrass nights and I already can't wait to go back!!! How about you? What shows are you going to in California?? Where in California do you live?? I hope we both get tickets for the Schermerhorn!!! It will be lots of fun!! You said your B4 that your mom lives in Nashville right?? I will talk to ya later

Hey Krissie,

I would love to make it down to southern california for one of those shows you are going to! I have tickets for the Santa Rosa show on Oct 29 (I live 7 miles from this venue). So this show will be it until I can possibly get to Nashville next year. That is so cool you got to see Vince at the Ryman Bluegrass show. I saw that show last summer and it was great! I loved it! My mom lives in Mt Juliet (east of Nashville) but she works downtown and gets to drive by all my favorite places! I've probably been to about 11 or so of Vince's concerts and have seen him lots more around Nashville at various places.

I've seen Vince only three times....and I'll get to see him at two concerts coming up soon....hope to see him many more times. My favorite was when he sang with Amy....they are both so comfortable with each other!

aug.24,08 torrington ct. vince and only three of the band. sold out. Great concert! A small group of his fans me included waited near the bus as vince was with the meet and great. To the delight of the fans waiting at the front of the bus vince came over to us and signed autographs. I was so starstruck that I did not ask for a picture with him. I hope to see him again. He was telling his stories, introduced a new song and he sat during the whole concert. I was in the 3rd row and was very happy to be there.
Does any know how I can get more videos. I have Souviners and I still ...
