Joan Osborne Album Features Crowell, Gill, Krauss


Pop singer Joan Osborne's upcoming album will feature several Nashville guests, including Alison Krauss, Rodney Crowell, Vince Gill, Bryan Sutton and Dan Tyminski. Titled Pretty Little Stranger, the album will be released Nov. 14 on Vanguard Records. Osborne wrote six of the songs. She also covered songs by Crowell, Jerry Garcia & Robert Hunter, Patty Griffin, Harlan Howard, Kris Kristofferson and Roy Orbison. Osborne is best known for her 1995 hit, "One of Us."

Sorry to say I don't even know who Joan Osborne is. Never heard of her. Would be interested if it's an actual duet or just BGV.

I don't know who she is, either...I just got the info and passed it on.

I'm a big fan of hers. I have all of her Cds. She is a super vocalist and great song writer. I can't wait to hear what she and Vince came up with.
