I have a meet and greet for Aug. 20 at Westbury NY and I saw this awesome tshirt - Lord of the Strings with all types of guitars on it in a circle. I wanted to get one for Vince to give to him - what size do you think I should get - I was thinking XL cause he is broad shouldered. What do you think?

We have a really nice western clothing store near us, and I have often of getting a shirt for Vince there. I would get at 1X because a lot of times he wears a button up shirt over a t-shirt.

The last time I gave Vince a shirt, it was an XL. I think a 2X will be way too big for him and a large might not fit since alot of large shirts vary in size (sometimes they can be a "large" large or they could be a "small" large, if you know what I mean). Good luck

Nina, Hil's right - I'm sure Vince will get a kick out of that shirt and probably wear it a good bit.

It would be great to see him wear the shirt sometime - hope he likes it. Can't wait to see him in concert again and show him something the girls did for me at work on my birthday - I work in a real estate office and we have plasma screens that show the houses constantly all day - on my birthday my friend who works with me did a powerpoint slide with a picture of Vince wishing me a happy birthday and we had it on the screens all day. We took a picture of me standing by the screen and I am going to print it out to show Vince. He will probably get a kick out of that. Everyone at work knows how crazy I am about Vince so it was great for the boss to allow us to have it up all day. Funny!!

About 18 years ago, I left my desk where I worked at The University of Texas Medical Branch for my lunch. When I returned, there was a wooden stand, with a 1" by 1" picture of Vince on one side, and a large walnut, with rolling eyes glued to the other side of the stand. The comments read "VINCE GILL NUTT". Of course, none of the research scientist, nor assistants, nor clerical staff had ANY idea who put it there! Everyone for weeks just had a great laugh about it! It took me months to finally find out it was one of the clerical staff who was in the same office as me. IT WAS FUNNY.

I still have that thing after all of these years, and I love it!
