Hi all! I haven't been at this forum for a while because my computer is just plain evil and won't let me. I am borrowing another one right now...hope my boss doesn't find out LOL!

I was able to get a meet and greet pass with Vince at the Lorain County fair Aug 18. Should be a great day as my hometown is Cleveland Ohio, and I'll be staying with my crazy cousin Tracy and me and her and her two young kids will be spending the day at the fair before the concert. Plus, because I will be visiting family there they have PROMISED me a meal of "Chicken Delicious" which is the absolute best fried chicken meal in the whole midwest, and I speak from chickin eating experience. Vince would love some too I am sure but I am not going to carry fried chicken around with me all day!


I was wondering about those of you who have already had a chance to do a meet and greet with Vince....what was your experience like? Let us know!

You will just love meeting Vince gill I met him at York pa, I was wondering what i would say to him but when i looked at him, the frist thing came out of my mouth was ( I just love you Vince Gill) and he said thank you Sweetie. got to hug him, I'm going to see him August 27th at Williamsport Pa. i was hoping to get M/G passes.can't wait to see him and hear his voice awesome. my grandaughter got to meet him too.

Dawn,Vince is like some one you have known for a long time. One of the times I met him he put out his hand and said "hi,I'm Vince" Imagine !!!!!!!!! I told him I sure knew who he was and his reply was " I don't want to be presumptious " .

Another time when my daughter and I met him there was a couple between her and I and my daughter lent her camera so they could get a picture. Vince is talking ,answering questions ,smiling for the picture and we stared to go out for the show and he tapped my daughter on the shoulder and said ,"Sweetie,don't forget your camera". Incredible......he sure can multi-task !!!!!!
