Full Version: I'd like to hear Vince's version of...

Crime-Stopper
Hello all Vince fan-friends!

I'm new here, yet I've been a Vince fan since 1988!

I really love his 4-album set "These Days" and there are many songs on disc 2, "The Groovy Record" that give me complete confidence that Vince could do a really hot-groovy version of the old song, "Ghost Riders in the Sky." Anyone out there know this song? It has a really cool message to it and I think Vince could hit a hole in one recording it.

I wish he could/would.

I haven't been able to get to one of his recent concerts since he doesn't come to Utah very often and my disability doesn't allow travel, but I wanted to know, does Vince still ask the audience for requests? Would anyone out there be willing to request "Ghost Riders"? Might get him thinking on it.

I don't know if that song is in public domain or not. Maybe that's the answer to my question - maybe the song is not 'available' for recording.

Just thinking...

I know the song you are referring to and normally anyone requesting a certain song at any concert I have ever attended is his own songs . Vince usually doesn't record anything but his own songs .
Exceptions I know of is when he does compilations such as the tribute album to The Eagles and the more recent one of the Opry Gospel album .I'm sure there are more but they don't come to mind at the moment .

Here's hopeing Vince gets to Utah so you can go . He is fantastic in concert . smile.gif
