Full Version: Vince wears glasses?

This is most likely very old news, but it's way new to me --- I just saw a picture of Amy and Vince and he was wearing glasses! NOT sunglasses. He wasn't reading but just standing and posing with Amy.

Was that a fashion statement or does he need glasses? BTW, he looks great in them.

Thanks for reading this.

I didn't think it was possible to admire him anymore than I do, but now knowing this about him makes me like him even more! I wear glasses too. biggrin.gif

I remember when a bunch of us saw him in Las Vegas (the "Next Big Thing" tour - the Hawaiian Shirt gang... could that have been ANY more fun???) - anyway - I remember somebody yelled out a request for the "Rain Rain" song and Vince was so perplexed by that... finally he realized the gentleman meant "Not Much Love Here Anymore" and he scrounged around for the sheet music 'cause it'd been ages since he'd sung the song. He propped the words and music on his guitar awkwardly and actually had to borrow some reading glasses. It was so funny! And of course, despite balancing the sheet music on his guitar and needing the borrowed glasses, he played and sang the song absolutely flawlessly and beautifully. I will never forget that!!
