Yesterday,I was waiting at The Cracker Barrel to meet a new (hopefully friend) for breakfast. All of a sudden I hear this most familiar music begin. Immediately I knew it was Rock Of Ages. So nice to hear anytime but on a Sunday morning it was exceptional. I had been feeling a bit apprehensive about meeting with this person. The song really spoke to me and I did have an enjoyable breakfast .Only problem,He has no clue who Vince Gill and Amy Grant are. To sad. Good food.

Anna, How neat that Amy's song played when you needed to hear it at Cracker Barrel. Hey, one can always introduce good music to new fans & friends. Glad breakfast went well.

Anna, we were at a couple of Cracker Barrels while we were on vacation week before last, and we heard several of Amy's songs being played. I think they were from the CD that Cracker Barrel has on sale. If I'm not mistaken, I believe I heard Vince singing background on one of the songs. As for your new friend...it's your DUTY to educate him properly on the VINCE thing!!! laugh.gif Kay S.

Kay has a point here, Anna...it is your duty to educate your new friend on the best thing that has ever happened to music!!! And Kay, you're right about Vince being on several of those songs on the Cracker Barrel cd...that is a combo of Amy's 'Legacy' and 'Rock of Ages' cds...Amy picked her favorites for this Cracker Barrel cd...and Vince did the arrangements on both Legacy and Rock of Ages...all of those songs have Vince written all over them...I'd be hard put to pick a favorite...!!!

Anna, hope all goes well with your new friend...

Oh man, back in the 90's I was in a kitchen store at the mall with my two good friends. House of Love came on over the speakers and I was happily humming along. The 3 of us separated in the store and then I hear this person singing the song REALLY loud. My 2 friends thought it was me and wanted to slink into the corner. I can be embarrasing in public, I admit, but this time it wasn't me. It was just some other shopper enjoying it a little more than the 3 of us... unsure.gif

Cute story. I can relate. Not the loud singing but I do sing along
