I know it is posted on the tour page and Debbie has it listed but I just got an e-mail from the Opry and their list of preformers and I didn't see his name. Is he or isn't he? (Sounds like that Miss Clariol commercial from years ago, does she or doesn't she, lol. ) Just wanted to know if I should get my VCR ready?

Looks like GAC is running a repeat of an Opry show that featured Vince, because if you look at the schedule over at Opry.com, the whole show is seperated into 1/2 hour segments, and when the Opry is being aired live on GAC, the second segment is 1 hour long, and they have it listed 7-7:30, 7:30-8:00, meaning that GAC is airing a repeat.

GAC is running the George Jones 75th birthday celebration that they taped this last Tuesday. I'm almost sure Vince wasn't on that show so don't expect to see him perform. But since he's listed as being on the telecast I have a feeling maybe there is a taped interview with him that he did a few weeks ago. Just a guess on my part but he has done something similar in the past. Remember a few weeks ago when Pam Tillis remarked about Vince being all dressed up. We'll just have to wait and see. It could all be connected to George's 75th birthday celebration.

Deb, sorry if you misunderstood about Vince on the Opry. If they are showing a repeat, I always list it on tv appearances, even if he's not live. We usually list somewhere else on the board if Vince is too appear "live" at the Opry. Sorry for the mixup.

No, Anna, the program you are thinking of is Soundstage that was on PBS. This program was taped this past Tuesday. It's posted on the GAC website.

Very cool. I love Jones music. So happy he is showing up now. I am amazed the man is still alive and can't believe he is going to be 75. I do not want to miss theis but I think I will because it is that one station I don't have. What is the channel it's on ? Always forget that one. Is it a Satellite station ?

It's on GAC, on the usual Opry slot. You have GAC, don't you, Anna? It will be repeated several times if you can't watch it tonight.

No problem, Debbie, I just thought he was going to be on the Opry tonight but then got the e-mail from the Opry and he wasn't even listed so I was just wondering. If it's a rerun I'm sure I've already seen it, lol. but it won't hurt to check it again just in case it is something I have missed.
