I watched Inside the Circle this evening on GAC. It was a half hour show which featured Ashton Shepard. Vince and Patty were on the show talking with her at the Ryman.
It was mostly Ashton. She sang three songs. Vince and Patty were mostly giving her advice about the music business. It was okay but not what I expected the show to be. I thought there would be more interacting between the newcomer and the veterans.
Of course Vince had a couple of funny things to say, like when Ashton told her Jimmy Dickens had kissed her hand before she went on the Opry and told her not to be scared. Vince said, He did the same thing with me. Patty got a kick out of that.

I totally agree with you! I got all excited to see Vince (and Patty) together again on TV but the show itself wasn't what I expected. And that it was only a 1/2 hour, just wasn't that exciting. Vince was funny of course, he was just being his funny, gracious and inspiring self! Gotta love him!
