Thanks, guys, it really wasn't an interview, just filling out the application and available days to work. The only problem I have is that they require their employees to work on Sundays from noon till 6pm, and our Church doesn't even let out until about noon...so I'd have to give up going to Church on Sundays except for maybe 1 Sunday a month if I'm lucky, and one of the last things my grandmother said to me before she died was "keep going to Church" and if I got the job at Dillards, I wouldn't be able to do that, because the Church we go to only has Sunday School and Worship service on Sundays, no other meetings. Dillards isn't even flexible with the hours that you work on Sundays, you *have* to be there at noon, no later.
My mom told me about a temp agency that is almost across the street from the Church we go to, and my sister's workplace...my sister worked for them for awhile, and they test you to find out what you're good at and place you. So I'm going to go over there either on Friday or early next week, depending on how I feel. The last couple days I haven't been feeling real good...had an earache and a headache last night and after we got done running around today (my mom came over and walked the mall with Hailey while I went to Dillards), I had a headache and I just feel totally exhausted. I even went and laid down on the couch for about 1/2 hour before I made dinner this afternoon. I've also lost about 6 pounds since July.
Oh, while we were out, we went to IHOP for lunch, and I got to talking to one of the waitresses in there (we go there every Sunday for breakfast, so we've gotten to know most of the waitresses and even the manager in there), and she said that I should ask about a hostess job, since they're always needing hostesses. The manager was taking a break and sitting on the bench by the register as we were leaving, so I asked her if they had any hostess positions open, and she said they just filled 2, but if they have anymore open up she'd let me know.
