It's been awhile since I heard from Lois. I do think I sent her an e-mail when the new board opened up .

Hello Anna, I have been just crazy here! My twin sister and her hubby were in a car accident and I have been going back and forth with that mess! She is fine, Thank Heavens, with bruised ribs but her hubby is not so good. Besides a broken hip and a leg with 2 breaks in it and in traction, his left lung is badly bruised and barely working. He had to be put in a coma and put on a ventalator. Today they took him off but he is still having a hard time breathing. They may be putting him back on it. My sister is a basket case worring about him. I plan to go stay with her this weekend so I can drive her to the hospital. She is very sore with her ribs. - Also, my little grandson Connor fell and broke his collar bone! This Oma is a wreck! I just wanted to take the pain away from him and give it to me! 6 weeks before he can be a normal 4 year old! It will be hard. Poor little guy! He was so excited...mom signed him up for swimming lessons but now that will have to wait.
I haven't had a chance to get to the new board yet! Don't think I will get to it for a few days. Please let everyone know I appreciate them thinking about me! I will get there as soon as I can! I did check the site out though. Looks wonderful! - I chat with Snug often...She and her daughter will be here to visit me in September! I am so excited to have them come! Don't know if she is still a member. I will ask her the next time we chat. I do know it was hard for her being 7 hours time difference. I hope she is still a member! It's the place that brought us together! Vince does such wonderful things and he doesn't even know it! LOL! - well, thanks for the heads up about the new board, I promise to check it out very soon! Thanks so much for your email. It helps to know friends care!
My brother-in-law is still in bad shape but shows signs of improving. We keep praying for him to get well. My sister is walking slow but can get around to be up at the hospital with him. My heart goes out to her. She just keeps telling him that they will get through this. I hated to come home today, I feel I should be there for her. But his sister from Idaho is staying with her for a couple weeks until he is out of ICU. At least she isn't alone.
I know I don't have to tell you to have a great time in Ky. AND with the girls for lunch! I will cross my fingers that Vince shows for you all! Good luck! - Oh my...Vince and a snake! Poor guy, I bet he was scared to death! Think I will check out the new site tonight. Have a great week, Anna! Thanks for the good wishes. Thank you for posting my emails here, Anna. And thanks to anyone who may have thought about me and my family. Carrie Anne, I didn't forget about you...I'll email you soon. Thank you for wondering where I have been. Hopefully, things will start to improve much more! - Connor hasn't let a broken collar bone stop him. He's a tuff little 4 year old! When I called him he said " Oma, I can put my shirt on by myself again!" His mom says he's back to running around with his brother again. He will be just fine!

Lois, I'm so sorry to read about the accidents in your family lately! Glad your sis is ok and hope her hubby's recovery will go well. Your little grandson sounds like a trooper. Take Care of yourself too!

Thankyou, everyone! There isn't much of a change in my BIL, Larry's condition but, With everyone keeping him in their prayers and the wonderful medical staff caring for him we are staying positive! It will be a long road for him, and for my sister Linda. But we are a big family...we will help them through this.
And Connor will bounce back in no time at all! I am just a worry wart Oma! lol!
Thanks Anna for keeping in touch so often, and Thanks Debbie for your words of support. And Carrie, thanks for your nice emails. You guys are the best!
