The Star Ceremony was f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s!!! We had a great time...was great to see Amy honored with this star...just hope Vince will one day get one. Maybe the mayor of Hollywood will do what he said he would do and they will soon be giving Vince a star as well...even tho Vince joked that he would like his star to be next to a liquor store, haha, I think a really appropriate place would be right next to Amy's...

I heard that on the video Becky. So happy you had a great time. I thought about you mengling with THE STARS. So cool. Vince of couse was joking in his usual off the wall way. I know he would want his star nex to Amy's . That would be to You guys home now ?

Vince definately deserves a star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I don't think there's *any* aritst out there who has won the number of awards he has, and that includes his singing, songwriting, guitar playing, and humanitarianism...he's gotten an award for just about everything possible, and very few, if any, other artists will come close! And Becky's right...his star needs to be right next to Amy's!

Vince's management and MCA needs to get going on this. Sorry if I say something I shouldn't but it looks like they dropped the ball somewhere not to have gotten Vince nominated by now. It's usually management and the record company that gets an artist nominated for this honor from what I understand.

The mayor did talk about getting Vince a star...he said it takes a vote of the city council to get it done...but then he remarked that since he was mayor, you could forget the vote...LOL!!! Don't know how much of that was joking and how serious he was, but he appeared to be sincere when he said that they really needed to give Vince a star as well. I haven't watched all of the video that was on the youtube site, so I don't know if that portion of the mayor's speech is on there or not...just thought I would pass that info along in case it didn't make it on the video...

I have the entire ceremony videotaped...Bruce is working on moving it to his laptop to burn a copy to dvd...along with the pictures that he took...
