The Nineteenth Hole > The Nineteenth Hole > The Main Room

It has been 3 years since Vince made his way back to Santa Rosa - but it was totally worth the wait! The show started at 8pm and ended around 10:50pm. Vince let us know he would be taking requests after he sang a few songs and boy did those requests fly out of the audience's mouths! I was extremely blessed to have a front row seat, so my request (Colder Than Winter) was easy to yell out! And yes, He did hear me! He sang my request after a few others, which made my year! I don't ever recall him singing this song at other shows I have attended, so I was in on cloud nine! He was tuning his guitar and said that this next song was written during a dark time in my life and Thanks for knowing it and glanced over my way! I was thrilled to death! He sang alot of his popular songs and a few new ones (which I really enjoyed). The audience liked hearing Hard to Kiss the Lips at Night, and really enjoyed the story behind it about writing it for his dad but realizing it was about his mom. He told quite a few stories about his dad and a little about his brother and mom. He mentioned Amy a few times and someone asked about Jenny.

I was fortunate to get a meet and greet pass and spent about 10 mins backstage. There wasn't a line but about 20 people back there and only 4 of us were chatting with him. I got a picture, autograph, and got to chat with him! Vince is just the sweetest and most generous man I have ever met! I am so thankful to the fan club and Vince for allowing fan club passes, what a remarkable evening - one I will NEVER forget!!!!!!!!!
