Joyce, honey...you & Rob are going to be just as tired as you were last year when we stayed up all night long to meet Chely Wright at the Wildhorse!!! I understand buying tickets to both the IFCO and Chely's benefit tho...they are both such good shows...our first 2 years we went to the IFCO show at the Ryman, so we're going to Chely's again this year...and well next, who knows what will happen!!!
Make sure you leave a little time to sleep this year, k??? I know you probably didn't even leave the Wildhorse last year...probably just waited around for Blake's early fan club party...man, I was so tired after that night...LOL!!! But it was worth it!!!
I'm really having fun with all of these new things we can do on this message board!!! Love the

Here is a list of confirmed attending artists (nightly concert) who do you think/wish will be the surprise artist??
Thursday:
Nightly Concert at The Coliseum
Gary Allan, Brooks & Dunn, Sara Evans, Pat Green, Little Big Town, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blake Shelton, Hank Williams Jr., plus a surprise performance
Friday:
Nightly Concert at The Coliseum
Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Terri Clark, Billy Currington, Montgomery Gentry, Wynonna, Trisha Yearwood, plus a surprise performance
Saturday:
Nightly Concert at The Coliseum
Billy Ray Cyrus, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Craig Morgan, Brad Paisley, Josh Turner, and Carrie Underwood
Sunday:
Nightly Concert at The Coliseum
Keith Anderson, Clint Black, Los Lonely Boys with Ronnie Milsap, Joe Nichols, LeAnn Rimes, SHeDAISY, Sugarland, plus a surprise performance
Becky
May 28 2006, 02:41 PM
Are they still arranging the nightly coliseum shows by record label??? I have no ideas about the surprise performance..but they could be new artists on that night's label...or they could be big names or a mixture of both...
Don't see Vince's name on here..but I don't think he will be at the coliseum this year...he's more likely to be there next year after his boxed set is released...I hope my thoughts are wrong tho and he does show up as a special guest on one of the nights!!!
Hope all of you going to the coliseum shows enjoy them...and I hope for good weather for you for each night...sounds like the line-up is looking really nice...
Just remember what happened 2 years ago..for those of you that plan to attend the coliseum show and then the Opry Trust Fund Benefit...we left the coliseum early and went to the Ryman so that we wouldn't miss any of that show...I know that Vince is still not on the line-up for the Opry Trust Fund Benefit, but I'm still hoping he might pop by there anyway!!!
Becky
Cinderella
May 28 2006, 04:13 PM
Big & Rich aren't on that list... wouldn't surprise me if they aren't one of the suprise guests as well as Garth Brooks with Trisha. There was rumor of him last year but it wasn't him... for the life of me I can't even remember who the surprise guest was... anyone remember?
Mary Redd
May 28 2006, 07:46 PM
Just so long as it's not someone like Kid Rock or Bret Michaels. I don't know, I guess when I think "surprise guest" I think of someone I'd WANT to see, not someone who happens to be in town and isn't really country. Garth would be cool, but that rumor circulates every year.
Becky, I don't know, but I'm assuming they are still doing it by label. That, and a cross check on Poll Star might narrow down the surprise. I know Rascal Flatts is in Detroit while I'm in Nashville. Timing!!

Yes, at the risk of getting into trouble, I don't want to see Uncle Kracker at the coliseum again. I was not impressed...sorry. There were rumors that Kenny Chesney would be there one year, but he didn't show...my thoughts were Big & Rich as well...
If we're going by label, then what night would Vince fit into??? Still personal opinion, Vince won't be at the coliseum again until after he releases his next project...the boxed set...just my own personal opinion...I'm looking for him to (hopefully) stop by the Opry Trust Fund Benefit, tho...believe me, if I get a chance to ask him at the Mt. Juliet ballgame, I'll be asking him what his plans are for the rest of the week!!!
Pam Dalton
May 28 2006, 10:32 PM
I liked Uncle Kracker, thought he was different, but I wouldn't want to see an entire show with him! I'd love to see Bon Jovi with Sugarland, that is probably wishful thinking though. And I'm really disappointed that hardly any of the current winners of any awards are listed

they would be the ones in addition to Vince that I really want to see! Maybe they are all our surprise artists. And Garth Brooks would be a great surprise, but I doubt that is happening. We all kind of thought maybe last year, and it didn't happen then!

I'm kind of looking for either Kenny, Garth or Big and Rich. I do think it could be Bon Jovi with Sugarland.
