Okay, I've been a little "out of the loop" lately, but whatever happened to the DVD that was supposed to be coming out - I think it was last year. It was a concert recorded at the Ryman. Wasn't that supposed to be released on DVD or have I completely lost it?

No, you haven't completely lost it. We can only speculate as to what happened to the DVD that was supposed to come out. It's possible that it got tied up with legal issues, but we don't know for sure what happened. All we can do is wait and hope it gets released at some point.

Do mean the Country Bluegrass Homecoming that was recorded at the Rymnan earlier this year? If so those DVD's are out (Vol. 1 & 2). Vince performs quite a few songs: All Prayed Up, Go Rest High, Tell Me One More Time About Jesus. This was a Gaither concert with quite a few performers: Marty Stuart, Ralph Staney, George Jones, Rhonda Vincent, and many more. There are also interviews.
Not sure if this is what you were waiting for, but it's Vince live nonetheless. I vagely remember hearing that there was another DVD in the works, but can't recall for sure. I'll keep my eyes are ears open for any news.

No, we're talking about the "These Days" concerts that were taped at the Ryman in April of last year that was shown on HD Net. The DVD was supposed to have come out last December but so far nothing has been heard about it and here we are a year later.

Yes, I caught a few (only a few) of the Ryman videos on youtube and could positively remember it being release I thought but then again record company and other politics seem to get in the way of the artist. What i truly love to know if he has something plan before '10 or for the new decade? Well, I have pratically almost all of his songs but always love to hear something new from him or maybe a fan's dream come true - a country/pop duet album with none other than his superstar wife Amy Grant.

I have heard that there were some technical difficulties with getting the DVD finished and believe there has been no release date set for it.

It's a shame because the HDNet show of the Ryman concerts was fantastic. I went to both of those Ryman shows and feel they were amongst the very best shows Vince has ever done. And believe me, I've seen probably more than my fair share of Vince shows!!!
