The new Monopoly game is made up of current landmarks such as the GOO, Disney World, Times Square and the White House. It costs $1,000,000 to buy the GOO...all the prices are updated, and you start out with $2,000,000. The Railroads have been turned into airports, and there are things like cellphone service pay $1,500, you are runner up on a Reality TV show, collect $100,000, etc. Its pretty neat!

I did get a game of Scrabble in when I visited my daughter. Thank goodness I have my computer games . My cat shows no interest in playing Trivia or any of those other games.

No, I haven't played the new game, but you can take a tour of the board at Monopoly.com. You can also play a solo game using the new board over there...it's not exactly a real game, but you can see the spaces up close and personal.
