Guys - can you believe that it is snowing at my house and in Galveston, TX. THAT just doesn't happen!!!! Our 3 hours of winter has arrived. It should clear out by midnight, and then we'll be done with our winter! smile.gif

It is so beautiful!!!!!!! 4th time in my life I've seen snow!!! I'm 58 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had snow flurries here last night, but they didn't last long and once they hit the ground they melted.

We had snow sticking to the cars and rooftops in Houston. Some of the translators I'm working with had never seen snow, so it was pretty fun watching them and taking their pictures in the snowflakes *L* It started snowing here around 3:30 and at 7:30 it was coming down pretty hard, surprised me tongue.gif

Lots of icy frozen bridges here this morning, and the news is reporting lots of accidents, hopefully people will be careful since they aren't use to this!

You are welcome to any of ours you would like. We had quite a storm over the week-end and especially close to Lake Michigan where we live.
It was beautiful on the trees and with the red cardinals perched in them but the other side is the fatal accidents that have happened.
We are suppose to have alot of snow this winter so imagine our kids will have alot of snow days. Be glad to share some of the white stuff.
Most likely will have a White Christmas. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Wasn't it amazing!! We had snow too. I was in Maine last week and no snow at all but got home and here it is. I loved our short winter too.

Our 'winter' was after dark! sad.gif Would loved to have seen the snow in the daytime. I will probably never see it again in this area before I croak!!!!! smile.gif We just don't get it that often - as Linda knows!!!

Wish we had a short winter here in PA. it rained all day and sleeted. and tonight it snowed on top of that just a big mess. I would rather have snow than freezing rain. any way our winters are long in PA.
love ya Shirl, in PA. biggrin.gif

Well, here in Western Washington we have snow predicted for the lowlands tonight and later on this week more of it and then it won't get above freezing for a while. Our kids will get some snow days. We don't get the amounts that they get up in the passes or over in E. WA - mostly we get dark rainy days and lots of them - 6 months of overcast we like to say. But all our rain makes for a very very green state and lots of flowers come spring. biggrin.gif
