Very nice interview Reggie. You must have a lot of frequent flier miles...you do get to lots of concerts! The reference to Toto in the article reminded me of something that Vince said in Nashville. Accompanying him on bass was David Hungate, he introduced him and said "If you've never heard of him..."GOOGLE" ToTo sometime and you will find he was one of the original members!" Well...I was shocked to hear Vince say "to google" someone, since at one point he really didn't do computers! So I thought that was really funny that Vince is being dragged into the computer age with the rest of us boomers, whether we like it or not! While I am not a music afficianado (I grew up in a VERY strict household, and we did not listen to music!) I did google Toto and was surprised to read all about them and their longevity. Now I can appreciate them thru your article also, and once again marvel at how the country music industry incorporates other music genres. Thanks, and keep letting us know what you are up to.

Kay,

Everything Vince has ever said about him not doing computers is hogwash...he might not get on very often, but I DID ask him if he ever got on the computer and visited his website (this was back in 2003 when it was the other site), and he said that yes he did get on there and read some of the messages...so I knew he knew how to use a computer...plus I know some other people had asked him if he ever got on the computer.

I did get to meet David Hungate @ the Vince/Amy Christmas show in St. Louis & he knew who I was from the Steve Lukather website! Wow! I thought that was pretty cool. I've known Steve Lukather & some of the Toto cats for about six years now. There are a ton of "rock dudes" in Nashville now. I ran into Paul Taylor from the band Winger 2 or 3 times in Nashville & Kip Winger lives there too. Also dudes from Cinderella, Nelson & Night Ranger.
