I'm sure that most of you on here already know that Bill takes a yearly mission trip out of the country, usually to Romania, but this time, I get to go with him. I'm very excited about the trip and getting to tell others about Jesus. You just wouldn't believe how excited people are over there to know everything about Jesus and how to live like he did. We're so spoiled over here that people just don't hardly get excited anymore about the prospect of having a relationship with Jesus Christ. It's really sad, but that's what happens when you get everything you want and take things for granted. We have no idea how much people lack the things we take for granted here. We're just spoiled brats, let's face it. LOL

I would appreciate it if you would keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Bill, myself, our daughter, a newly married couple, and a young married man in our church is going in June, so we're trying to raise money by having dinners at Church and an auction in May.

It will also be exciting to finally meet the people that opened their arms lovingly to my husband and daughter and took them in as their own for so many years.

Hi Debbie.......I'm so glad that you are getting to go on the mission trip with Bill and your daughter. I've never been but in listening to the people from our church when they get back, it's a life-changing experience for a lot of them. For the last two years, our mission trips have been in the U.S. We have a group of 25 who have been in Mississippi this week, helping rebuild homes for Katrina victims.

I will definitely keep your group in my prayers. I hope you will share your experiences with us when you get back.

I've heard so many times people saying, "You'll never be the same" once you've been on a Mission Trip, especially out of the country as everybody there is so hungry for God's word. I'm sure I'll also realize just how blessed I am compared to others around the world. We all take things for granted here in the US because we're so spoiled.

Bill and I went to a meeting last night for the Pastors and Associate Pastors around the Lowcountry - The Gideons wanted to give thanks for the support and the Pastors in the area. We heard so many wonderful testimonies - brought tears to a lot of peoples eyes, including mine.
