Oh my gosh oh my gosh... I can't believe how long it's been since I've been able to check in with the VG site and what do I find, but a concert date scheduled 10/9 right here in Redding, CA!!! The Cascade Theater is a beautiful venue, one of those historic and recently restored old theaters, and it is literally 4 minutes from where I work.

I am so excited, words can't even describe it. Don and I had been planning to figure out a way to travel down to Turlock or one of the other California cities, figuring I'd need to take a day off work, etc.... but WOW now he will be here in our own neighborhood. A dream come true!!!

I hope to get great seats... I may need to stalk the ticket office. Hopefully I'll see some of you guys there at the concert too!!

Just stalk the VG site so you will know when the Advantage tickets will be on sale! We should all be notified by email before they go on sale to the public, and you can get excellent seats - just be one of the first to order! That's the main reason I joined the fan club, and it has certainly paid off! I got great seats for his show in Bossier City, La, but best of all got chosen for Meet & Greet, and got to meet and talk to him. What a thrill!

CONGRATS on the show so close to home, and good luck with good seats and M&G. Be sure to let us know how it all works out!

Just a reminder, not all concerts have Advantage tickets so you better check what's available now and not wait. The tickets probably have been on sale for awhile.

Thanks everybody! And nope, they're not on sale yet... believe me I checked and will keep checking. Jeez... just thinking about it again I get all butterflied...

So far, no word of an advance sale for this show, and tickets go on sale to the public this Friday 8/7. ARG this is killin' me! It's a little 1,000 seat venue and the buzz is all over town. ARG again!!!

You're the first person who popped in my mind when I got my email about Advantage tickets for Redding! Oh, I hope so much that you were able to get in on them!! Let us know if you did, and if so, how close you are, etc. Be sure and put in for the M & G. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Oh my gosh, you won't believe how stressful it all turned out to be. First of all, my Fan Club presale e-mail ended up in my spam filter at work only to be discovered AFTER struggling to get my tickets! BUT -- I was able to sign-up with my local radio station for their pre-sale opportunity the day before the general public's sale. I got to work at 7:45 AM to be ready -- only to find that the station's link to the Cascade Theater wasn't working!! I thought my e-mail was being blocked at work, thinking everybody in town was buying their tickets before I could.!! (I'm (hyperventillating just thinking about this again...). During all this ordeal I had my Vince buddy Cathy on the phone, and she somehow was able to find her way into the Cascade Theater's site from her computer at her home and was able to buy us tickets -- 3rd Row, left-hand section, toward the center aisle -- GREAT SEATS!!! WELL... it turns out the Cascade Theater had opened up the pre-sale to the general public for only a few hours because of the screw-up with the radio station's link but we did not know that at the time -- we just lucked out when Cathy happened to go to the theater site at the right moment!!! It was sooooo nerve-racking and my heart is pounding even as I type this. WHEW!! It all turned out okay and Cathy, my husband Don and I are so happy and very excited!!! The buzz around town about Vince's visit is unbelievable... no one can believe he is coming to this little venue, such a huge star and all. Thanks for thinking of me, everybody!

I have been there trying to order tickets and find it very, very stressful.

Don't forget to put in for the Meet & Greet!! You may get lucky, and be even more excited than you are now!! Please let us know how it all turns out. The seats you got sound great! How stressful, but at least it turned out good!

Hi gang - I promise a detailed review and I'm sure it will be adventurous, as my long-lost Vince buddy Cathy (from the Vegas and Konocti concert days -- some of you may remember my stories of those two concerts) is going with us and spending the night at our house afterwards. AND -- I just signed up for the Meet & Greet. Cross your fingers for me! Life is good. It's so great to talk to all of my friends here 'cause you 'get it'.
