Thought you guys would like to know that Vince is at the top of CW's Heat Index this week for being the honoree at the Recording Academy's first-ever Grammy Salute to Country Music.

I'd love it even more if CW finally did a cover story of him when he receives his honorary presentation from the Grammys.

Does anyone recall how long it has been since he's been on the cover of Country Weekly?

I'm with you, Sherry. I won't be happy with CW until Vince is put on the cover again. It's been 8+ years. Remember the cover with Vince, Amy & Corrina right after Corrina was born. Who knew that would be the last time Vince would be on the cover of CW.

Yep Joan i remember that cause i have it in his scrape bookand i haven't seen it ever. I haven't got the newest cw yet for this week. get it tomorrow.

Joan, thank you for filling me in on the info about the last time Vince (Indeed, the Gills were on the front page of CW.) I have that issue as well, but I didn't realize it has been 8 whole years since Vince has graced the cover of CW along with a cover story. That particular cover with Vince, Amy and Corrina I think was one of the highest selling editions they've ever had.

Can anyone tell me the date on this magazine with current info? Ever since they took my mail copy away, I haven't been able to keep up on my Vince news. I live toooooo far in the country to get to town regular to purchase. Thanks,
