What is the poster like? I ordered my box set from Amazon also. If the poster is a picture of Vince I would order another set. It is a cheaper price than Amazon but I was so anxious to get it I just could not wait.

I just cancelled my Amazon order and ordered this. Amazon was giving me a week after release for a delivery date. That's not good enough. I'm pretty much going to pay the same price, I went with the two day air shipment. I figure I will be paying the same amt plus I will get it sooner plus a poster. Pretty good deal.

I just went with standard shipping. It usually doesn't take 10 days for us to receive anything when they give a time frame like 3-10 days..we'll usually get it in 3 or 4 days.

I pre-ordered as soon as it went on sale to pre-order. I would think mine would be coming soon. I'll have to check to see if it has been shipped yet. Ordered it from Amazon

Anna, even tho you pre-ordered, they still won't be shipping it for a while. It wouldn't be right for them to ship it before the release date...although, we have gotten a few cd shipments in the past from various companies that it was obvious that they shipped it before the release date..it doesn't happen often tho, because they can get into trouble for shipping it early, even if they have it in stock already...

Well they can keep it as far as I am concerned. I'll just get it at the store. Heck with it. I am upset. Can you tell ???????????

Yep, I can tell...I think that the pre-order option is more of a convenience than anything. Just so that you can pre-order something when you first see it and then forget about it, knowing that it will be sent to you as soon as it is released. It would be neat if pre-orders were shipped early...but unfortunately, pre-ordering has nothing to do with getting the product before it's released...

Yes it is, Freida. FYE has actual stores in malls all over the country. We have one in the mall here, and the mall we went to in FL actually had 2 FYE stores (at least for awhile), one at each end of the mall!

Took the plunge.Had to actually call fye.com The site wouldn't accept my card ( or let me enter my phone number,that was my eyes messing that up.I couldn't see the seperate boxes for the phone )so had to use another one. It's so nice when things run smoothly . Got These Days ordered and keeping my fingers crossed that I will get the poster. They are still showing that you will get one while they last. With shipping it is a tad less than $25.00 Now Oct. 17th. I'll be in store somewhere buying another set.

We have a FYE at our Mall, but they dont' always have the same price as online. WalMart does the same. Like this week online it showed Alan Jackson's new cd as $9,88, the store had it for $14.88

Some of these prices you all are saying, seem really reasonable to me. I would have thought it would be so much more. Remember how much George Strait's, Straight out of the Box was when it came out. It was 4 Cd's.

Last week when we were in Walmart, I went to the CD section and looked at AJ's new album...the CD was marked $14.88, but there was a 'sale' sign advertising $9.88. You really have to watch the prices anymore...we were in Target yesterday...I got AJ's CD w/bonus DVD, which was marked $13.99. When I got up to the cash register and the cashier rang it up, he told me the total was $17.41. I knew something was wrong, and when he gave me the receipt, I looked at it and it had rang up $15.99! I told him and he said I'd have to go to the Service Desk for a refund...so I did.

Valerie, You are right about watching the prices. I didn't even look to see if there was a sign above it. I just waited. I am trying to get it as cheap as I can, as I dont' need to be spending money on stuff like this. As of this Thurs. at 1PM there is a very good possibly my Hubby will be on a contract strike. They have been working without a contract since July. The union has given the Company this dateline, to seriously give them a contract they can live with.

Do pre orders help the rateing on the charts when it comes out.

Don't know about that but I have heard in the past that a new release debuted at # ! or whatever . I would think sales no matter if they are pre-ordered or bought in stores would help .

Anna, he works for Goodyear so it is not much different than GM. Just tire co, instead of car. We Will know at noon tomorrow. It really isn't looking good. They want to take away all of the retirees healthcare, and close several plants. There are 14 plants involved in this, 12 here and 2 in Canada. Three yeara ago the employees agreed to a pay cut and to pay a lot of their health benifits. Now they want more pay cuts and to to close plants. Also on new hires they want no benifits at all. I really dont' know what is becoming with this country. Especially when they have the books showing how many millions of $ all the stockholders and CEOs got this year alone. What about the people that got them those millions. Ok I will shut up now. This has nothing to do with Vince.

Actually as far as fye.com goes, they usually DO ship EARLY! The Thursday or Friday before it comes out in stores so that people receive it by the Tuesday (or sometimes before as has been the case with many things I've ordered), so you don't have to worry that it won't ship for days after you can get it in the store! Plus the poster to boot!

Did anyone get a poster with the set from fye.com? I know they said while they lasted and it would take longer to get the poster ( 6/8 weeks) Why ? You know what came with my 2 sets I got from them .................A tobaggan hat with Scary Movie logo on it !!!!! Need a hat??????????

I know that some other people ordering from FYE got one of the sock hats as well. Don't know why..they didn't either. I suppose we ordered from FYE too late because our order was cancelled. So, we still have a copy coming in from Amazon and one from GAC...couldn't wait for those, so I bought a copy from Walmart and Circuit City yesterday...

I got the sock hat also...going to see if maybe my stepfather wants it...otherwise I'll give it to Goodwill. *L*

Bruce checked and our amazon order wasn't shipped until today..the order from GAC is enroute...yesterday afternoon it was in Jacksonville, FL...good thing I went out Tuesday to buy a copy...I'd have trouble waiting this long for it to get here...

Becky, that's why I cancelled my Amazon order and got it from FYE. They gave the arrival date as next Tuesday. I'm sorry, but that's crazy. They can do better than that.

I agree, Joan..I would have cancelled the amazon order if I wasn't sure that I was going to buy another copy off the shelf on release day. Still waiting for the amazon copy and the GAC copy. But...at least we already have 2 copies that we are listening to!!!

Hi everyone, we just got back from vacation. We left on the 18th but I was lucky enough to get my box set on the 17th so I got to listen to them on the way down. THEY'RE ALL GREAT! I got the sock hat too! I hope we get the poster later.

I got my boxset from Amazon too, but I couldn't resist ordering another set from Opry.com so I could get the free pictures of Vince. This collection of music is more than wonderful and I hope someday I will have the chance to ask Vince to autography one of my boxes.

Well, none of the sites on TV that were advertised as being Vince seemed to be on here in Seattle area; however, my local radio station played his new single immediately after I sent them an email !!! I was stunned.
