Hey Carrie Ann,I'm waiting to take my three girls Christmas shopping.It never suits them.I'm starting to get very nervous.This happens every year! We must soon get our tree up and put lights up outside.I have to bake cookies and make candy.I have a really easy candy recipe and make it every year.It is chocolate and peanuts and marshmellows.We have to go to a viewing today. Our neighbor was found in his driveway with the mail in his hand. He had been laying there for days before someone found him. He was 51 years old.So,so sad.I haven't gotten the story yet as to what happened.Are you ready for Christmas yet?It's coming so fast.I'm excited to get all the cards from Vince friends.Look forward to it! Hey Carrie Ann,

I haven't had a chance to post in awhile b/c I've been so busy. Not enough posting for anyone to even get to know me yet, lol. How nice of you to ask what we are all doing. I hope your upcoming surgery goes well. I hope it is after the holidays anyway.

I had to sing at a birthday party for a friend of mine and attend a Christmas concert at our local performing arts center. It was the kickoff of the season. The next concert is going to be Vince coming here (Emporia, VA) in January. I just can't wait. The opening concert was just fabulous, The Lowe Family Christmas. If you ever get a chance to see this family perform, I'd recommend the show.

Oh and I asked the president of the arts council in charge of the events at the art center if I could prepare a special welcome gift basket/present for Vince b/f the show and he said that I can come to the venue the day of the concert and leave it for him in his dressing room and maybe even help w/ some of the other preparations and be there while they are setting up that day. I'm so psyched about it, I just can't wait.

I'd be open to any suggestions you or any other of you Vince fans might have for the welcome gift I'm preparing for him. Let me know what you think.

Muzette, Oh my gosh, I would be so darn excited! This might mean that you will get to talk to Vince.Keep your fingers crossed!As far as to what to put in the basket,I don't know.He does like to snack so maybe some interesting snack foods.I just don't know.If I think of anything I'll let you know.I'm going to see Vince in April.Can't wait!So excited for you.Hope you have a nice day and a Merry Christmas!
