We just got back to the hotel from the Ft Pierce show. It lasted 3 h ours and was, as usual, excellent. It was completely sold out,

He has the full band back with him, including Andrea Zohn. He did a mix of songs, some old, a few new ones.

I didnt' keep a list of the songs, but the new ones were Lucky Diamond Motel and Bread and Water. Surprisingly, he did not do When I Call Your Name, though he did do I Still Believe in You during the encore. He also did High Lonesome Sound the original way.

Our meet and greet wasafter the show, and it was great to get to see him and have a short chat. We were disappointed that we weren't able to find the new CD for him to sign.

During the show, he told some funny stories about his Dad and some of his experiences when he was young and talked a little about his family.

He did say that the album of new songs will be out around the end of the year. We had a neat thing happen this afternoon. We check the venue as soon as we arrive, just as we got to the downtown area, the radio started to play I Still Believe. As we turned in front of the theatre, the bus was coming down the street.

I was also one of the fortunate attendees to the Ft Pierce FL show at the Sunrise Theater. (3rd row center!!!) I have been a huge fan since he burst on the Country music scene in the early 90's and have to say that he is an amazing person on so many more levels than I ever imagined. It was truly as the show was billed, An Evening With Vince Gill. He projects such a kind and down to earth demeanor that you cannot help but be drawn in by his presence. He told stories of his childhood past, his brother, father, daughter and lovely wife Amy. He obviously has a very strong relationship with his family and opened his heart to give you a peek inside to what is truly important in his life. You felt like he was talking to you as an old friend and had the audience mesmerized. I know I was. My eyes glassed over as I fought back tears when he talked about the tragic accident that ultimately led to the untimely death of his brother. When he told stories about his dad, he had me laughing so hard my stomach hurt. He told us about the songs he wrote and what the inspiration was behind them. Sort of connected the dots for me as to the songs I've loved for so long. A true master of his craft, his abilities as a story teller, musician and his smooth as molasses voice has only gotten better with time and is second to none. Without a doubt, he is one of God's greatest gifts to this world and I will never forget the experience of his humble and sincere performance. Thank you Vince for a memory that will always be one of the highlights of my life.

Tony,Great review.I personally think Vince Gill is a musical genius and one of the best things about him is he is so very down to earth .
