For any of you who are planning to go to Vince's show on Aug. 21st at the Crighton Theater in Conroe, TX, even though the Vince tickets don't go on sale until 3/26 @ noon, the season ticket holders for the Texas Music Series have been given first choice on seats. Obviously, the best seats are taken, and the ones which will be sold for Vince only will probably be on the sides on in the balcony. But, as we know, ANY SHOW VINCE PLAYS IS GREAT!! biggrin.gif

From the website, the theater looks to be a really neat place -- originally built for vaudeville shows in the 1930's, not too big, with comfy theater-type seats.

Of course, we don't know yet about M&G's, but I was told that is a common practice at the theatre. So, maybe.

Just wanted to pass along the info I got.

Look at this way----you are gonna get the sweet seats...the best view and the best location to absorb all the music in. Those in the front rows are thinking they have great seats, but in reality they are all going to wake up the next morning sore from craning their necks upwards and getting a great view of mostly legs. And the best sounds shoot right over their heads----straight to you! Have a great time for all of us!

You're absolutely right! I just hope we can get floor seats and not the balcony. The theater only seats about 500. It's a pretty intimate atmosphere, and should be a great show. Looking forward to M&G. Hope we're not disappointed.

Sounds like a great place to see a Vince show! Heck, ANYwhere is a great place to see a Vince show---I'd listen to him on a city bus, rolling through the rough parts of town, given the chance! Have fun!
