First thing you need to do is find out more about this person, make sure she's who she says she is. Also talk to your parents, find out more about this long lost sister from them. If you talk to your parents and ask her questions and then determine that what she is telling you is true, then you have to decide for yourself how you want to handle it, if you want to meet her, etc.

Good advice

Ask LOTS of questions from other family members, Carrie. She may be 'long-lost' for a reason. Move forward slowly and get lots of information from family sources. Good luck.

I have to say I agree with Valerie, Cathy and Anna on this, Carrie Ann. Please move forward slowly and verify that she is indeed who she says she is. I hate to say it, but this is exactly how some people can be taken advantage of. And we definitely don't want that to happen to you, Carrie Ann.

hey vg fans it's really true it's my sister cause I did show my e mails to my parents let this goes any futher.she is my real dad daughter first marriage .I can't get into the details what happen cause my parents got divorve when I was 5or6 years old.I was really little .thank for all of the advice u gave me.I did show my mom step dad the e mail.I was shock & nervous about it.my mom going to let me to go know my sister.long story .thanks for your concerns from carrie ann
